Our top priority at Nolafrique is buying wholesale merchandise directly from African women. We believe that by working primarily with women, we impact the financial security of their families. Asanatou Baldeh, (pictured left ) and Enna Kah (pictured right), are both residents of Gambia. They are both mothers who sew clothes for Nolafrique to earn their children school fees. This is why we only source from Africa.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
Here at Nolafrique, we value quality. Every outfit. you buy from Nolafrique has been hand-made by our seamstresses. Nolafrique allows our partners to tell us how many items they would like to make in each style. Therefore, it is possible that we have received only three dresses in a particular style. If you see something, buy it right away! There is no guarantee that the given seamstress will re-make the style again. Nolafrique's outfits are truly one of a kind. You do not have to worry about anyone wearing the same outfit as you.

Nolafrique's fabrics are 100% authentic. Our seamstresses purchases their fabrics directly from local markets and vendors. Every dollar you spend with Nolafrique, is shared with at least three other African merchants. The buttons, zippers, and thread that is used to make your clothing, are all purchased within Africa, from Africans. Nolafrique believes in group economics.

Watch Aafiya Cisse, one of our Senegalese seamstresses make the final touches on a dress with her barehands. Aafiya takes her time examining the dress for any loose threads that may be be left. It is her last personal touch before she sends it to us, and we send it to you!
